Dream Foundation Needs Donations, Volunteers; Center for Successful Aging Hosts Fundraising Event


• S.B.-based charity group the Dream Foundation has accomplished thousands of dreams for those facing the end of their lives, and recently celebrated the fulfillment of its 10,000th dream this year. The organization is in need of monetary contributions and is also seeking help from new volunteers. Call 564-2131 for more info.

• This Sunday, July 11, the Center for Successful Aging, an area agency that offers care via counseling and support groups to senior citizens, will be hosting A Catered Savoir Affaire, a tantalizing taste session that will help raise funds for its programs and services in S.B. Food and wine from S.B.’s finest restaurants and wineries will cater the event. Tickets are $75. Call 963-8080 for location and more info.
