The Santa Barbara Central and Eastside Branch libraries—including public meeting rooms—will be closed on Mondays beginning July 12. The closures come in conjunction with a decrease in the SBPL’s operating budget for the coming fiscal year. After a series of legal battles, the Ensemble has recently announced that they will be moving forward with their renovation and new lease with Victoria Hall Theater (33 W. Victoria St.).
