The Thank You Ocean Campaign and the California Coastal Commission are accepting photo submissions for their 13th annual Ocean and Coastal Amateur Photography Contest. Submissions are due by Friday, September 2. Visit for rules and contest info.


Due to declining attendance, the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara has discontinued its weekly Dance Away meetings, which offered S.B. a place to move creatively for more than 30 years. The program is now looking for community support in finding a new home. Visit to help.
