Neutralize Emotions

I liked the piece “Anti-Bullying Message Steals Spotlight” except for the suggestion to “neutralize your emotions” to cope with bullying. Jon Dorf, the playwright, says it’s not his. But it would take several paragraphs to explain why it should be put in a different way, such as: Emotions should be felt and expressed as much as possible. It can be done courteously, even with anger.
