Lovers of science, shellfish, and suds should head to Dargan’s for I Eat My Research! — the latest event in the S.B. Museum of Natural History’s popular Science Pub series. This week’s Pub host is Paul Valentich-Scott, SBMNH’s curator of malacology, who will discuss his world travels researching a fascinating but poorly understood group of animals: bivalve mollusks (i.e., clams, mussels, oysters, and scallops). Attendees can sip drinks during the talk, ask questions, and more. Science Pub runs from 6:30-8 p.m. on Monday, November 7, at Dargan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant (18 E. Ortega St.). Ages 21+. Call 682-4711 for more info.
