Sixty-Hour Workshop to Become State-Certified Sexual Assault Counselor

“The greatest gift you can give a [rape] survivor is your time and compassion,” said Lorena Bracho in a press release. To that end, the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center is offering a 60-hour class for folks who want to become state-certified sexual assault counselors. The workshop takes place Mondays and Wednesdays, January 23-March 13, 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Applications are due Friday, January 11; you must be 16 years or older.
