UCSB’s Very Own TV Station


The Gauchos have invaded your television. UCSB got its own TV channel this week, Channel 72 on Cox Cable to be specific. Debuting on Tuesday, January 10, UCTV provides a mix of Santa Barbara-specific programming as well as shows from other UC campuses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Regularly scheduled offerings like “Voices” and “Debating Darwin” feature UCSB faculty and guests talking shop about everything from history and cutting-edge science to poetry and scholarly research actively being done at the school.
