Man Found Murdered Near Guadalupe Beach

A Santa Maria man was found murdered just outside the entrance of Guadalupe Beach on Tuesday morning, Sheriff’s officials announced. The body of Javier Alcantar Limon, 37, was discovered face down in the dirt on the side of Main Street at around 6:50 a.m. The group of field workers who made the discovery flagged down a nearby motorist who called 9-1-1 for help. Sheriff’s officials, citing the ongoing investigation, have so far declined to release additional information.
