My father-in-law has gone from smoking two packs a day to no cigarettes at all in less than a year because of these things. He has also reduced his nicotine intake as well. It's been great for him and good for the rest of us too; strawberry banana vapor certainly smells better than stale cigarette smoke. That's enough research for me...

Can somebody who voted "Just a nuisance." explain in what capacity they are a nuisance?

I admit I wouldn't hire somebody to stand next to me and smoke a regular cigarette, but I don't even consider those a nuisance. But you can at least tell they are there and I can see why it would bother someone who is anally retentive.

With vaping everything disappears and there is really no noticeable effect at all, smell or otherwise. You would think people who are highly averse to wanting to stand next to a regular smoker would be practically handing these things out to smokers for free in an effort to get them to switch instead of voting in a poll that they "are a nuisance".

As usual our dependable troll loonnie-toon did absolutely no research but merely posted his continually myopic view.

If he had done some basic research he would have learned that second hand vapors are indeed an issue with these contraptions.

Rob I'm sorry but that is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. They can't even prove that second hand smoke from regular cigarettes has any negative consequences, and you are trying to tell me that WATER VAPOR has negative health consequences??

You need to learn to think for yourself.

Nope Loonie this is the dumbest thing you have ever heard:

"They can't even prove that second hand smoke from regular cigarettes has any negative consequences"

You are not only completely (and I would guess intentionally) ill informed your comment seem to encourage humans to suffer involuntary harm.

I cannot understand how any thinking person could ever entertain such a view but frankly that defined group would exclude you anyway.

Well you can go ahead and cite the KNOWN and PROVEN fraudulent studies that show second hand smoke from cigs causes harm if you want, but I will continue to believe the truth that it is mostly not harmful and in extreme circumstances VERY negligible. That doesn't mean I believe that if 5 adults are chain smoking cigarettes in a 10x12 living room with an infant for several years that the infant will have zero problems, it means that someone who works in a restaurant or bar where cigarettes are smoked by the patrons will not have any negative health conditions arise from doing so.

But once again, people who complain about other people's habits all day have a very difficult time looking at the bigger picture and engaging the actual subject.

The fact is that the only reason cigarettes are as harmful as they are is because of the radiation in the phosphorus fertilizers that have been used since the 1940s to fertilize all of the commercially grown tobacco:

As well as the hundreds of chemical additives...

Tobacco by itself is fairly harmless and even has some health benefits. If you really cared about second hand smoke affecting people's health, you would be lobbying to get the radiation and chemicals out of the tobacco. But no, you are anally retentive and only use health problems as an excuse to try and control other people's behavior.

And while the radiation and the chemical additives, over time, may affect somebody who smokes a pack or two a day for decades, it doesn't take very much thought to realize that the amount of exposure somebody would get form second hand smoke is completely negligible.

Anybody who thinks that e-cig second hand smoke is dangerous is almost not worth engaging in discussion at all. May as well talk to a toddler who thinks they are on a magic carpet in lollipop land.

By the way, I do not use ANY tobacco products and have no personal stake in the matter. I just can't stand listening to people try and purvey ridiculous crap on here.

How? I don't profit from tobacco products and I don't use them. I'm arguing based off of strict logic.

Rob, on the other hand, is perpetuating a dangerous nanny/police state that tells people what they can and cannot put into their own bodies that requires billions of of dollars of ours to run.

Lots of vapers where I work and the interior windows of company vehicles are like hazy after the vaping car poolers exit the vehicles. They all seem to be coughing more than before they quit cigs also. Seems like they are vaping continuously whereas before smoking a cig lasted 5-6 minutes and that was it for period of time like a half hour or more.
.... like not a good thing.
