As soon as I saw the headline, I knew Holly would be throwing her usual unmedicated/uneducated hissyfit. She makes it sound as if the valley were one big wasteland of vice, sin, and utter lawlessness. It isn't. Far from it.
For crying out loud, Holly, get a hobby. Abandon the teetotaling temperance act (you're bad at it) and try extended silent meditation. I, for one, would greatly enjoy the peace and quiet.

A very touching and lovely memoriam by Anna Woolis. Thank you and thanks to your wonderful dad who introduced so many of us into a more healthy consciousness. May he journey well through those he leaves in the wake of his travel.

A nice idea that should be expanded throughout the Central Coast. As a citizen who greatly appreciates the work and dedication to service of our law enforcement I think it's nice to put a community relationship to a face and a name.

Ojai, in the Chumash language, is ʼawhaý,
which means "moon". For the longest time
I thought incorrectly it meant "nest".
