This is the kind of advertorial one would expect to read at Noozhawk or the Newsmess.

This is an ad gimmick.

When you sleep with dogs, you will catch some fleas.

And then the fleas will give you bubonic plague.

I thought the Democratic nomination was based on the candidate with the most number of delegates.

Rob, have you changed the rules?

Your math is a bit fuzzy.

Well, "CommonSense" I suppose that a little bigotry and intolerance is okay then.

Changing a school mascot name to something else that is not an ethnic insult is now an "atrocity"?

How would the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural Carpinteria react if the mascot name were the "Fighting Latinos" or the "Zapatistas" instead?

Save the Warrior imagery!!

Bigoted racist stereotypes forever!!!!

But seriously, this is an ideal lesson for these ethnically homogeneous Carpinterians about what American democracy is all about with the "Tyranny of the Majority" that our Constitutional Framers described.

Short explanation: might does not make right.

Maybe Daniel Fess Parker Boon takes over La Enchilada de Santa Barbara from Levy and just build there a workforce affordable youth hostel, 45 feet high not including the towers and the rooftop al fresco dining area and hot tubs.

If only Ron Paul would provide some leadership here.

School uniforms are a tried and true and successful method throughout the world.

Maybe the parents of these gangsters and wannabes then will start to think about why they are buying a school uniform?

How much local money and effort are we all paying to subsidize bad parenting?
