All snark beside, I support education as it statistically (for you partisans) lowers the incarceration rate. The question still stands beside the above diatribe, will prop 30 increase education funding? Yes it will. Will prop 30 funding be restricted to education funding? yes, if you consider funding pensions for public teachers education funding HOWEVER, this money would come out of the education budget elsewhere if it isn't passed. Hold you nose if you vote for this.

I would have if I was actually hurt, just bruised a bit. I would have been hurt if she hadn't stopped before rushing through a right hand turn with me in the firs half of the cross walk. I actually was making a cogent point lost on the young lady regarding where exactly she was and the potential consequences. Then again she could have probably just have claimed insanity and had an expensive lawyer get her off.

In short time you will come to realize that the issue here is less about posted speed limits (although you raise an interesting point) and more about a pervasive attitude of entitlement.
People, particularly those growing up in their own myopic dystopia as evidence by one local gal lifting me off my feet in the crosswalk at Garden and Anapamu with her daddy's SVU and then being petulant after I told her she was luck I wasn't one of the old folks from next door at Casa Santa Barbara, simply don't care about the safety and wellbeing of others when they are in a "hurry".
In the minds of these types of people, as unfortunately prevalent as they are, they are always right and you are just in their way.

Irrationality is the concern here for the Monsantos of the world. Indeed, our culture loves a great conspiricy theory and Genetically Modified Food is a fertile subject for an infertile Mind.
Although I will not get all Mendelian as surg has, it is true that not only have Americans been eating GMF for 17+ years according to the NYT but it is very difficult to prove a detremential link to a given health issue here. People should be much more concerned about the amount of Crap they ingest from the likes of Fast food Restaurants.
I will agree that pretty much the best reason to vote yes for this is to attain a degree of transparency to make a better informed choice; such is the American way or at least is should be.
