It is no surprise to me that the cops version of the events differs from what others witnessed. It is standard operating procedure for the SBPD to deny brutality.

As usual, Ken Williams is right. Those of you who disagree with Ken don't know anywhere near as much as he does regarding this segment of the population. The money saved by denying shelter to these troubled homeless individuals may be spent to provide them with indigent cremations.

Zimmerman is not an off duty police officer. He's simply a wanna be cop who got away with murder.

Spiritwalker, the best gun in the world was not needed for Zimmerman's trip to the store and he did not need it in his role as neighborhood watch volunteer. But he did need it to perpetrate the murder of the black kid he perceived to be a thug.

The only bully was Zimmerman who took a gun with him to go shopping at a Target store. Who takes a gun to Target? Someone who on the way to Target, profiles a black kid wearing a hoodie, follows him after being told not to do so, and claims he had to kill the kid in self defense. He got away with murder because of Florida laws which permit people like Zimmerman to kill those who they perceive to bea threat!

George Zimmerman is guilty of murder regardless of the outcome of the trial. The fact that Florida law allows people like Zimmerman to kill black kids does not make him innocent.

County Mental Health has for many years tried to do all it can to refuse services to many mentally ill residents by saying they don't meet the specific criteria of Mental Health's "target population". The fact that it takes so long evaluate someone who is not a danger to himself or others is deplorable.
As a retired county social worker I witnessed this dysfunction year after year. This dysfunction was caused by the policies implemented by management, not by most of the line staff who performed their jobs well despite the obstacles in their paths.
