It's true, we did turn down their application at first because by normal standards their application did not hold up, but we have a unique situation at the The Village due to the nonprofit nature of the Turner Foundation & our relationship with them. We're often able to work with difficult to place applicants & meet their housing needs. There is a network of support at the Turner Foundation, and Gilbert and his caregivers have so far been a welcome addition to the community at The Village. We've been meeting the rental needs of residents and managing properties in the tri-counties for over 20 years. www.cochranepm.com
We hope to read many more uplifting stories like these, and to see the positive effects the collaboration of local agencies and caring people can have on our city. Great to see people like Gilbert get a fresh start.
