I just read this story and thought that it must be an April Fool's joke. The Independent believes this story (not even sure it is one) deserves the front page??? Hard to imagine in today's troubling times that you would waste the ink on the most snide and arrogant surfer that I have come across in the water, and not put one of our city's real surf heroes on the cover...someone who actually cares about the sport, the community, the ocean and its future rather than an ego masturbatory maniac. The irony is that this guy is a very talented surfer (and possibly artist), but has still not learned that in order to be good at anything one must first start by being a good person...meaning good attitude and no snaking. Advice: Aaron, learn more from Duke....less from Kook.
