All people need to do to defeat the new barrier is park their car next to it, climb on the roof, and then climb over the barrier. Unlike other bridges that have installed barriers, there is no sidewalk or railing to prevent people from doing this. People warned Caltrans about this years ago, but they didn't listen ...
