I enjoyed the Mayor's answers and admire her views and was surprised to see somewhat negative comments. This questionnaire is based on one made famous by Marcel Proust. See the details here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proust_Q...
I miss the the days of print newspaper when 'letters to the editor' were chosen by the Editors. The letters were chosen to represent differing views on the issue and were often entertaining and enlightening after the purely negative, misinformed, and poorly written submissions were filtered out. They would also vet the letter and require the author provide their real name, which in and of itself would preclude much of the hateful rants and uninformed responses that make up too much of today's online discussions and comments.

My own tax prep process is pretty much identical to yours! I also have a Quicken Visa card and put all business expenses on that and, once set up, transactions are automatically categorized.

Interesting range of comments. I am one of the organizers for trying to a least try out this Public Ping Pong option (for free!). This has worked in other places to improve neglected areas. I have an outdoor table at my house and wind is rarely an issue. Paddles and balls are cheap and can be purchased or loaned from a local business, or bring your own!. Have a look at the website link in the article to see all the details. We have no agenda other than trying to find creative solutions to make Santa Barbara a better place.
