The poodle with a lib pedigree sure has his fluffy feminist head in the seeded clouds.

A few years back we read the Mayor and Marborg tout natural gas as SB's new "green" saving grace. Where were our B.O. slash fracking watchdogs then?

Answer....
Probably writing about the usual political snafus From the big wigs at the "Round Table".

(Last year the college was an award winning in it's higher learning.)
These days the voters are told the only award's they'll receive is "Most Asbestos" or "High Disturbance Rate"!

(maybe you should make a career move...)

These two always seem to have this love/hate relationship when it comes to the environment.... Rather than beg for air time to whine at the county level, why not ask the big oil companies and the GOP to get behind hatcheries and conservation of the dwindling open water.

First, there are places in this country where you can find seclusion and lack of development.... Goleta ain't one of them.
Second, how do you feel about someone like me, currently employed there?
Do you think we like starting up heavy equipment every wekk morning in you neighborhood?
(I'm working for Verizon/Cox laying the underground conduit for cable and high speed internet.) Don't you think I'd be much happier working on waste water treatment plants and de-sal solutions to the drought? How much blame do you put on yourself as a consumer living in a economy ranked on of the ten highest in the world?
If I felt that my space was encroached upon far too much, I'd begin to start asking myself why.

As one of the funk zone's resident rubber tramps, I'm ok with the development...
If the sailboats are made of red tile and the artist containers are covered in stucco!
Seems everyone is prepared to look the other way when the political power base spent every dollar they could developing a more tourist friendly waterfront.
The city's resources are constantly used for an eclectic group of profitable ventures. (Like the 4.3 million earned by the breast cancer foundation this morning. Take it from me, If he can prove to th city council that this is what the city wants, they'll be glad to look the other way while the 45 cruise ships come marching in!

What else would we expect from the Indy....
Every time the "pro immigration" Mayor rolls out a new effective law enforcement tool or the "anti patriot act" Congresswoman touts a Homeland Security upgrade, the "anti-war/GOP" folks get doe eyes and weak knees at the prospect of "being safer"!
I like to call it "socialist propaganda"...

Here's how we do it ok....
Tell em all that gas will return to two bucks a gallon see.
That every driveway will be sport cadillacss and porches like ours....
Instead of cash for clunkers we'll start a "Free Rides For Freedom"
program. Turn it your ten speed for a government funded V-!0!

Big deal! He got caught doing what all effective political tools do....
Hurry up and slap him on the wrist before we have to hear about his sad childhood!

Well you swayed me sir. Next week I'm heading for the city council demanding they spend a million or two on imposing injunctions on those who'd dare ridicule your opinion with their menacing internet diatribe!
Like the Mayor said, we can't have enough effective tools in our tool box!

On Injunction Anew

Discussing what the districts should be before the decision to have districts is made....
Obvious conjecture used to serve as the Mayor's "premature expectations" talking points.
(Why don't we all just pop some Haldol and have silent sit in?)

I think we need to take the gang turfs and the city data out of the equation. Focus on the lack of representation in certain areas and the reasons why,
