Last Saturday, May 5, the marquee at the Granada Theatre, which was installed in 1941, was removed in preparation for the new marquee, which will be installed in early 2008. The new signage is a replica of the theater’s original marquee and is pictured here, superimposed on an original Granada photograph from 1924.
