Police on Lookout for Counterfeit Traveler’s Checks
On 5/3 the Downtown Organization announced that a slew of counterfeit Visa traveler’s checks have been circulating in Santa Barbara recently. Police report the fake checks to be of “very high quality,” most of which are in denominations of $500. For longer story, see here.
