Detectives with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 29-year-old teacher, Kelli Jo Camp, on 5/29 for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old New Cuyama High School student. Camp was working at the school temporarily to earn a teaching credential. She was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor after emails alluding to the relationship were recovered by investigators.
