Elastec/American Marine, Inc. – the largest oil spill recovery equipment manufacturer in the country – will utilize an improved drum-style oil spill clean-up device designed by UCSB Bren School graduate Victoria Broje, who made refinements to the three-decade-old design while obtaining her PhD from Bren.
