A furniture truck overturned on the morning of 9/25, shutting down the right northbound lane of Highway 101 just south of Tajiguas along the Gaviota coast for several hours. CHP officers alleged that the driver was under the influence of drugs when he crashed at 4:45 a.m., and the man was placed under arrest. Both lanes were reopened by 9 a.m., and no other people or vehicles were involved in the incident.
