A 21-year-old resident of Loma Alta Drive was arrested on 11/11 on charges of felony animal cruelty, false imprisonment, and battery after allegedly beating a roommate’s pet cat against a wall because the animal had urinated on his bed. An altercation with the roommate ensued before the alleged cat beater’s arrest. The cat’s condition, according to a police report, has since improved.
