The debut of the Orfalea Fund’s Cool Food Initiative at Marjorie Luke Theater on 11/7 marked the community’s first taste of an effort that aims to teach kids in Santa Barbara County-and possibly beyond-to eat healthier. The event included free food and nutrition information that figures into a plan by fund founder Paul Orfalea to get area schools to prepare healthy, locally produced edibles for students.
