Bryan Risdon, of Carpinteria, faces felony charges following his attempted theft of a 27-foot Radon fishing boat on 11/24. Though was supposed to be repairing the “Jan Marie,” he allegedly brought friends aboard for a cruise around the Channel Islands. Risdon called authorities for help around 11 p.m. when the boat broke down, and was arrested for the theft and possession of a ninja throwing star, another felony.
