Former California governor Pete Wilson and California campaign chairman Bill Simon, a former candidate for governor, made a visit to Santa Barbara on 1/22 to discuss Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani’s tax plan and “commitment to pro-growth policies.” The former mayor of New York, who has yet to win a Republican primary or caucus after six tries, has visited the Santa Barbara area himself over the past year for fundraisers in Montecito.
