Here & Now

Though it’s been nearly four decades since their 1971 self-titled debut, the chilling harmonies and folksy goodness of America’s tunes still remain the same. The band is currently on tour in support of their most recent release, 2007’s Here & Now, which features guest appearances from the likes of Ben Kweller, Ryan Adams, and My Morning Jacket. A Walk in the Park

The Ojai Center for the Arts is now accepting applications for the 31st Annual Art in the Park show in downtown Ojai. Artists working in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media, wood, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and jewelry are all encouraged to apply and cash prizes will be awarded. The deadline is Wednesday, April 30, and applications are available by calling 646-0117.

Sweet eSCAPE

Thursday, April 3, through Sunday, April 6, SCAPE presents No Boundaries: Santa Barbara’s People, Natural Environment, and Architecture Interpreted through Art at Casa de la Guerra Historic House Museum (15 E. De la Guerra St.). The three-day exhibit and one-night-only benefit sale-taking place April 3 from 5-8 p.m.-will benefit the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation.
