S.B. Symphony Thanks Firefighters with Concert

Valiant Efforts Last Week Rewarded by Performance of Dvorak

Sat Nov 22, 2008 | 06:00am

In gratitude for the firefighters, police officers and sheriff’s deputies who protected the community during last week’s Tea Fire crisis, the Santa Barbara Symphony is offering a free concert this Sunday, November 23, at 7 p.m. at the Granada Theatre. The symphony will play Dvorak’s New World Symphony. The theater will open at 6 p.m., and seating will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

If they like, audience members can donate to the United Way Fire Relief Effort in the lobby.
