S.B. Humane Society Needs Food and Crates for Evacuated Pets

As of last night, S.B. County Animal Services, which includes the S.B. Humane Society, ASAP, and Equine Evac, has provided emergency care for more than 300 animals displaced by the Jesusita Fire. You can help out by donating the following items:

• Pedigree small crunchy bites dry dog food

• Pedigree chunky beef and chicken canned dog food

• Johnny Cat Original cal litter (unscented and non-clumping)

• Whiska’s dry cat food

• Friskies mixed grill canned cat food

• Medium- to large-sized animal crates

Donations can be dropped off at the Santa Barbara Humane Society, 5399 Overpass Road, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. For more information, call 964-4777.
