• On Thursday, August 20, the S.B. Beach College Academy will be hosting an online book auction to benefit its new college preparatory programs. Log on to the Santa Barbara Book Auction’s Web site at sbbookauction.com to browse and bid on the assorted volumes. • Angels Bearing Gifts, a nonprofit organization that seeks to bring awareness and compassion to the disabled through educational activities, will be hosting a Parking Lot Sale to benefit its many programs. Among the items up for grab will be clothing, holiday gifts, stuffed animals, CDs, jewelry, and other assorted goods.
