Volunteers Sought for UCSB's Sedgwick Reserve, Pro-Bono Physical Therapy Program

• UCSB’s Sedgwick Reserve, a 5,900-acre protected area in the Santa Ynez Valley, is looking for volunteers to help with garden and nursery upkeep, visitors, and more. Volunteers will lead interpretive hikes, work with children in the outdoors, and work in habitat restoration, event coordination, public relations, and more. Call 686-1941.

• Jamie Guerra, MSPT, is a physical therapist looking for other PTs to join his team of professional volunteers at Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics doing pro-bono therapy work for one hour or more per week. Licensed physical therapist volunteers would offer their services to patients without health insurance or whose health insurance is so minimal it does not cover physical therapy. Call 458-4779.
