The Cold Spring Bridge barrier is a waste of state and federal funds. We need street and highway improvements desperately and the barrier will not stop suicides anyway. Such a barrier will merely say, “Don’t jump here.” It is time to lay this wasteful and esthetically injurious project to rest.-J.W. Burk
