Dr. Thomas Fogel Presents New Techniques in Radiation Therapy

Radiation Oncologist is First Speaker for Breast Cancer Resource Center Education Lectures in 2011

The Breast Cancer Resource Center announces its first Health Education Lecture for 2011.

The speaker will be Dr. Thomas D. Fogel, MD, a Radiation Oncologist with the Ventura Cabrillo Radiation Oncology Center. Dr. Fogel will speak on standard and new technologies in radiation therapy. He will explain why various treatments are or are not recommended, and how the patient’s overall treatment plan is coordinated with other specialists to develop a whole treatment plan.

Time: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Location: Wake Center Auditorium, 300 N. Turnpike Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93111

This lecture qualifies for 2 continuing education credit hours. A fee of $4 per contact hour is to be paid on site (not online).

The lecture is co-sponsored by the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara City College Adult Education.
