What’s funnier than politics? Nothing, according to the members of the comedy troupe The Capitol Steps. The group consists of former congressional staff members who tour the country, dishing the dirt and satirizing their former stomping grounds and bosses. The Capitol Steps have been around for more than a decade, performed throughout the United States, recorded 15 albums (their most recent is called A Whole Newt World), and been featured on many a television show, including Good Morning, America; Entertainment Tonight; Nightline; The Today Show; and 20/20. They’ll be here Thursday, April 28, at 8 p.m., at the Lobero Theatre (33 E. Canon Perdido St.). For tickets and more information, call 963-0761 or visit lobero.com.
