It’s as simple as this: For $25, you pick a beautiful, handmade ceramic bowl, fill it with delicious soup, and help end hunger. And not just yours, but all of it, as you’re attending the 14th Annual Empty Bowls Lunch at the Rockwood Woman’s Club on Sunday, November 6. Artist Danyel Dean founded this benefit for the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, which is based on a concept that started in Michigan in 1990, and it’s raised more than $1 million so far. With some of Santa Barbara’s best restaurants serving their soups, here’s your chance to eat well, do good, and get a bowl to take home, which will remind you that there’s ever more caring to do. For tickets, call (805) 967-5741 x104 or see emptybowlssantabarbara.com.
