ON RECORD: Leigh Legler, The Santa Barbara Independent‘s new listings editor, comes to us from just across State Street, where she and her husband, Kurt Legler, operate Warbler Records & Goods—the product of a collective, lifelong dream…and a couple of very extensive record collections. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Legler moved here from Portland, where she worked for newspapers, magazines, and the occasional bar and bakery. She’s a fiend for style—AP, Chicago, sound—and, in her first official act as an employee, she redesigned the listing office’s lighting concept. Our eyes—and ears—are thrilled to have her.
