Am I missing something?
Why can’t the Santa Barbara Farmers Market be held on State Street on Saturdays? The City of Santa Barbara should be able to close down State Street to cars (until the market ends in the early afternoon). It would certainly generate more foot traffic in the area of downtown that needs it the most.
