Santa Barbara Swim Club swimmers were up bright and early for this year’s Narwhalathon on September 20. The Narwhalathon, an annual fundraiser named (in part) for the team mascot and held at the 86-year-old Los Baños Del Mar Pool, includes swimmers ages 6-18 completing laps for an hour straight to raise money for their team. This year, the Narwhalathon raised more than $8,000 — money that will go to meet equipment repair and maintenance, training gear, and coach training. Go, Narwhals!
