Legal Aid Foundation chosen for BrandAID by Idea Engineering and Santa Barbara Foundation

Idea Engineering is best known for their work as brand builders and product and service marketers and as a 54 year old nonprofit Legal Aid is thrilled to benefit from their experience. “When we met with Simon, he said – their vision is to provide us the opportunity to benefit from what they do best, so that we may focus on doing what we do best, which is to provide high quality civil legal services to low income individuals, victims of domestic violence and seniors in Santa Barbara County. Our clients come to us when they are in crisis; when they need a roof over their heads, or need to save the one they have; when they and their children need protection from domestic violence or when they need to protect themselves as seniors from being victims of fraud.” said Ellen Goodstein, Legal Aid’s Executive Director. “We are so grateful for this opportunity – as a 54 year old nonprofit, we feel like there are a lot of things we could be doing better to have a stronger presence in the community; we just don’t have the resources.” said Development Director Niki Richardson.

Idea Engineering has created campaigns for a wide range of industries from technology to healthcare, nonprofits to financial institutions, luxury goods manufacturers to small and mid-sized companies. The commonality between all their clients is a desire for experienced thought followed by needle-moving execution.

Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County provides free civil legal services to low income individuals, victims of domestic violence and seniors in Santa Barbara County. Last year Legal Aid served over 6,100 county residents, of which 1,056 were seniors, 775 were victims of domestic violence and 1,100 were minorities.
