Gracie Barra Santa Barbara, located at 1014 State Street, is offering a FREE Self-Defense course to kids, ages 7+. This free seminar, open to the public, will cover techniques and methods to prevent and respond to bullying. It will also provide an introduction to basic Self-Defense aspects of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. No previous Martial Arts experience is required.
This is a great opportunity for children to experience Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and learn, firsthand, the most common types of bullying and how to deal with it.
Our team of Black Belt instructors will guide your child through several Self-Defense techniques and tactics during this 2-hour seminar. Participants will learn directly from a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) veteran, and former sergeant of BOBE – Brazilian Special Ops Police Force.
This event consists of building awareness and developing skills so children can be prepared to handle multiple bullying situations.
