The Gold Ribbon Luncheon is Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation’s flagship event and is an inspiring, mission centered afternoon. Ticket sales begin on September 7th, and due to the limited number of seats available will sell out very quickly.

The Gold Ribbon Luncheon is held each year in recognition of  National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. This year the luncheon will be held on October 13th in the beautiful outdoor plaza of the Hilton Beachfront resort where guests will safely gather together in a spirit of community support.   Sharing his inspirational message of resilience, hope and dreaming big will be FOX NFL Sunday’s host Curt Menefee, notable sportscaster, athlete and author whose book Losing Isn’t Everything provides a thought-provoking look at what experiences of adversity can teach us about competition, life and the human spirit.  The  emcee will be Santa Barbara’s own Andrew Firestone who has hosted this event three times and is a guest favorite.  This year’s theme Dream Big lends itself to a bit of whimsy and childlike innocence which will be incorporated into the event décor, inviting guests to remember their carefree days of childhood, and their young dreams.

The luncheon will honor Nikki & Larame Green, as well as Lacy & Michael Taylor for their relentless support for Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation’s mission.  Andrew & Giana Miller will share the story of their personal journey with pediatric cancer, and their journey’s beautifully happy ending.

The luncheon will feature auction and raffle opportunities including trips and excursions to Costa Rica, St. Maarten, Beverly Hills, Santa Cruise, and even here in Santa Barbara.  Other auction items include a variety of Gucci and Tous accessories, wines, private dinners, local small business gift certificates and much much more.  The silent auction will be open to the public both online and at the event and will close the evening of October 13th.

All guests will be required to present proof of vaccination upon arrival.  State and local safety protocols will be followed and guest seating will be limited to ensure safe social distances between tables.  It is for this reason that ticket sales are significantly limited compared to past luncheon events.
