Live Music at Topa Topa: Plastic Harpoons

While influence from artists such as The Rolling Stones, Dr. Dog, Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty shine through, The Plastic Harpoons are able to weld their influences into something completely unique – twisting classic 60’s and 70’s folk and rock with a new age indie garage/vibe. The band is made up of Santa Barbara musicians that have played in other local bands. Led by the Dylanesque vocals and rhythm guitar of Taylor Casey, Daniel Vasquez on lead guitar, Sean Renken on bass, and Bijan Firouzan on drums fill out the lineup of Santa Barbara’s newest indie/folk/rock band.
