Nurturing Know-How: The positive impact of music in early childhood development

Bilingual singer, songwriter, early childhood educator, and music therapist Nathalia will be presenting this interactive introductory course, participants will gain a basic understanding of the effects of music in the developing brain. Participants will learn strategies like using songs and rhythmic patterns that can assist with self-regulation, language learning, transitions, learning cognitive and socio-emotional skills. Nurturing Know-how is a series of virtual classes designed to introduce child caregivers to early literacy, school readiness, use of developmentally appropriate activities, and health and safety training.

If you’re an adult who spends a lot of time with children, this virtual series of classes is for you!
