Join the Newbury Park High School Band as they present their 11th annual Jazz Festival on March 15th and 16th 2019. Middle and High School Jazz Big Bands and Combos from all over Southern California will meet in the Performing Arts Center and Choir Room and perform in front of world class adjudicators. Friday (3/15) performances begin at 4:30 PM with the last group beginning at 8:00 PM. Saturday (3/16) performances begin at 8:30 AM and the final group performs at 6:30 PM. Combos will be in the Choir Room (M1) on Saturday from 10:30 AM 4:00 PM. Admission is $10 and will get you full access to BOTH days at the festival. Dont miss out on the fantastic noon concert on Saturday featuring Jeff Hamilton, with his guests Tamir Hendelman, Jon Hamar, and Graham Dechter. Concessions will be available, including a taco truck Friday evening from 5:00 7:00 PM. This event has grown to be one of the premiere Jazz education events in the area. You wont want to miss out.
