The Santa Barbara Jazz Society welcomes Kevin Winard and Who Dat Dere? to SOhO on Sunday, February 11 from 1 to 4pm. Band leader, drummer, and singer, Winard, is a first call musician here in town and has traveled the world with such musical luminaries such as Sergio Mendes,
Doc Severinsen, the Captain and Tennille, singers Jack Jones, Vic Damone, Paul Anka and many others. Joining the group is guitarist Pat Kelley who is recognized for his signature touch, harmonic dexterity, bluesy melodies and sense of rhythm. Saxophonist and grammy winner, Jacob Scenery, will be there too, and rounding out the group is our own local, excellent bassist, Santino Tafarella. It’s quite a line up…you won’t want to miss this one!
Admission to the event is $20 for SB Jazz and Blues Society members, $10 for professional jazz musicians and singers and full time students with membership, and $25 for non-members. Doors open at 12:30 and seating is limited, so plan to arrive early.
