Leatrice Joy Meucci

Born in Milan,Tennessee to Joseph and Sue Thompson, Lea Meucci, the joyous woman known as ‘Granny’ passed away on September 28, 2010.

Survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Robert and Lea Meucci have spent the last two years in Maravilla, aided in sometimes trying circumstance by the staff and their loving caretaker Bernice.

Lea will be loved, honored, and dearly missed by her twins, Jan Campbell and Lt. Col. (Ret.) James Meucci, and their spouses Randy Campbell and Kathy Meucci; granddaughters Darcy Quinn, Nora Lea and Emma Grace Campbell; her sister Marian White and brother Billy Joe Thompson.

Friends are invited to a Mass at Saint Raphael Catholic Church (5444 Hollister Avenue, Goleta) on Saturday, October 2, at 10 a.m. A private interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
