Robert “Bob” “Bobby” Hazard Jones

May 3, 1955 – December 6, 2010

Robert Hazard Jones passed away on December 6th, 2010 in Lihue, Kauai Hawaii. He was a westside Kauai resident for over 25 years and was a journeyman painter for Kauai Maintenance and Construction Inc.

Bobby was born in Santa Barbara, CA on May 3, 1955. He is survived by his mother, Robin Jones; father, Ernest Jones and brother, Evan Jones, all of Santa Barbara, CA. Bobby loved to surf, play golf, and was an avid guitar player who appreciated many different styles of music. He also loved organized sports, animals, and was a great cook. Bob also was well read on many different subjects and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Bobby had a special place in his heart for Jake, Natalie and Erica.

A private celebration of Bob’s life will be held by his family and friends in Santa Barbara and a second celebration of his life takes place at “Salt Pond” Kauai on January 23rd, 2011. Bob’s ashes will be spread at Polihale, Kauai and at the Hollister Ranch., the Rincon, and Hammonds Beach Santa Barbara, CA. A contribution to the Humane Society in his name may be made.
