Give a Little

• The Carpinteria Boys & Girls Club is seeking volunteers for the Community Board to help with program planning and activities. If you have lots of energy, creative ideas, and a heart for our youth, call 684-1568 for more information. If you don’t have the time commitment for the Board, the Club also invites volunteers as mentors, tutors, or any kind of service or monetary donation.

• On Tuesday, February 12, from 7 a.m.-10 p.m., area IHOP restaurants will join forces with Cottage Hospital to “stack up” for a good cause. IHOP will offer free short stacks to guests, who can then donate to the Children’s Miracle Network. Visit ihoppancakeday.com for participating locations.

• This February, the S.B. Humane Society and generous local veterinarians are sponsoring the 17th Annual Spay/Neuter Month. Help combat pet overpopulation in our community by participating in this low-cost program, and get your cat or dog spayed or neutered from $35-$60. Call 964-4777 for participating veterinarians.
