    I viewed the pictures and remembered the Painted Cave Fire and the destruction it left in it's wake. Everyday I drove to work and every weekend when I went riding, I viewed the destruction and it always left me teary-eyed. This was my home and some *&^% had torched it. I again feel the same as I did 18 years ago and I hope the Law finds these SOB's and locks their butt's up.

    Great photos - not much left. The earth attracts celestial influences according to its condition, and our conditions here in Goleta have definitely changed due to this Gap fire. A desert attracts different influences than a brush forest; we will see what this means in the years to come.
